Nanophotonics: Collective Quantum Emission in Novel 2D Materials

Assoc. Prof.
Martijn Wubs has received a grant from the Independent Research Fund Denmark for the project “Nanophotonics: Collective Quantum Emission in Novel 2D Materials”. Co-applicant is Assoc. Prof. Nicolas Stenger. Together with a postdoc and a PhD student and other co-workers, they will investigate different types of quantum emitters in two-dimensional materials, and whether these emitters radiate their light independently or collectively. Aim is to find the fundamental radiation properties of these fascinating quantum emitters that one day may play a role in quantum information processing and in new types of light sources and sensors. Grant DKK 6.059.909.
